D1 potentiation of NMDA activity in the PFC in vitro

Glutamate-dopamine interactions in the PFC are being studied with whole-cell current clamp recordings. The role of dopamine receptors in pyramidal neuron excitability, specifically in the modulation of responses mediated by NMDA receptors are addressed.
